The Last Slice
for Kobe Bryant's pitch to ESPN

It’s a birthday cake party in Bristol. Kobe grabs the last slice off the table, but before he can get a bite in his mouth, John Anderson approaches, claps twice and puts his hands out.

JA: Here you go, Kob.

KB: But this is the last slice.

Again John Anderson claps and puts his hands out.

JA: Right here, Kob. I’m wide open, I’ve got a good look.

Kobe puts down his fork. Hands John Anderson the plate. Anderson drops it.

Tim Legler and Greg Anthony walk by, stuffing cake into their mouths.

TL: Should have taken that one himself.

GA: Last slice, you’ve gotta let Kobe take it.
