I had shot a few commercicals that other people had written, so I thought it was about time I made one of my own. The Smart Power Clean Energy Challenge provided a great opportunity to get a crew of friends together and shoot something that people would actually see. The potential prize money didn't hurt either. The ad we came up with promotes the efforts that energy companies are making to provide the option of clean energy to households, and I was really excited by the prospect of actually shooting using renewable energy. As it turned out, we had enough sunlight to do everything with sunlight and mirrors. Hopefully the Smart Power judges will appreciate the effort ...    play movie
