On this video I learned more that I ever wanted to know about screwing in lightbulbs. The lighted billboard we built for the climactic sequence used five 100-bulb stringers, none of which would light up without a perfect thread. The idea was to build something that would look great on screen, but that Baker could also rock at a live show. The sign wound up working perfectly for the video's climactic sequence, placing the wild hair and flailing arms of the band in dramatic relief. Convincing Baker to sit around screwing in lightbulbs for an hour and a half before a live show hasn't quite worked out yet ... play movie |
