The Interfaith Community Building Group is a Philadelphia charity group that builds community structures in poor areas. The group's members finance each summer's project themselves and travel to job sites everywhere from Philadelphia to El Salvador. To convey the hands-on ethos of the group, the letterforms in this logo were constructed from scratch using rectangles and circles as raw materials. The triangle form is a tracing of the hand-bent rebar used inside concrete block walls in El Salvador, a representation of the group's commitment to building structures that hold communities together.
